FAQs
(or most of them…)

Most operators sell you an itinerary. We sell you the door that you couldn’t open (or find) yourself. Between myself (Jack), Temirlan and Baya, we’ve walked this route hundreds of times. We can give you access to things and experiences you wouldn’t able to find on your own.
You could do a version of this on your own, but you’d be doing it without guides who know where the best trout in Kyrgyzstan is (yes, trout) and which families will host you for tea. That’s what wildflower is all about. We help you open the doors you could have never opened yourself. -
Kyrgyzstan is one of the most stable countries in Central Asia, and this route is Temirlan and Baya’s home terrain. I (Jack) have walked every route and plan everything, so every moment is carefully thought out, with safety at the centre of everything we do.
The best way to answer this for yourself is to check out some of our testimonials on YouTube - that can show you how safe our crew felt in Kyrgyzstan.

Most of the group usually is! Our tribe is so important, and that’s what makes wildflower so awesome. It’s about coming across the world, meeting new people, often who would end up being your best friends if geography wasn’t a thing. By day 3, you’ll have forgotten who arrived together.
Solo travellers share twin rooms or yurts. No single-supplement games. -
A 20% deposit is refundable up to 120 days before departure and and holds your place. A second payment of 40% is required 120 days out (to ensure you are coming), before the final 40% is paid 60 days out.
If you cancel inside 60 days, we can’t refund your place. We make arrangements very early for our trips (because the good stuff books out!) and we can’t get the money back from our crew. It just means you need to communicate and plan accordingly!
